Hi! I'm Kellee Wynne Conrad

Wynne (said win) is my middle name. I'm a redhead, I married a redhead and we have three redhead boys. It's never quiet around here! Art is my outlet and passion in the midst of a wild life. It centers me and brings me peace. I am so fortunate for this gift and I honor it with gratitude in every brushstroke.

But taking the time to slow down and soak in the creative energy of a group of artists and an enthusiastic teacher is where the best discoveries are made. Join me in a real life workshop where I can address your needs individually and share my love of art in a way unlike any other. Let's make art together!

Kellee Wynne Studios True Colors Lace Floral Mixed Media Painting workshop 3.jpg

carbon and Lace Floral

December 1st, 2018 10:30 - 5:00pm

In ”Carbon and Lace Floral” we will practice the True Colors color mixing methods first to mix up vibrant colors that simply POP on a black or white textured background. Then we will switch to painting on our prepared canvases for building fresh freeform flowers in lovely rainbow layers. Painting on black or dark backgrounds is a fun alternative to plain white and will give your artwork a new twist that really stands out. And adding texture to white is a great way to add dimension to a simple floral painting to create something special.Hosted at West Annapolis Artworks.

The Story of Color Crush Creative

Sometimes the projects that come together through spontaneity are the most fun. That's what Color Crush Creative is all about. In the spring of 2017 I started the color palette project for artists on a whim. It's one of the few things I didn't overthink, I just went with the inspiration and created a community that I'm so proud of and amazed by everyday.

As a community we have played with over 40 palettes, been introduced to countless new artists, read over 45 blog posts, used the hashtag #colorcrushcreative almost 50K times , Shared in hundreds of discussions in our private group and enjoyed having more than 2000 artists participate in the first free ecourse, Color My Life 2018. This journey is just the beginning as so many exciting new things are to come.
