I've left Paris behind for the south, now visiting Portugal. But I still have arches on my mind. And all things architecture. I did a quick watercolor sketch of one of the rose windows in Notre Dame that will be included in my upcoming #timelessarches ecourse and I can't wait to share all the details with you when I get back. Ok, I'll admit it, I miss my studio. And I guess my home and my family. 😉 I'm not really great at making art on the go. Apparently I need to be in my comfort zone to do it. Also...I came down with a nasty cold and I don't feel like doing much at all, let alone paint. But I'm on this great adventure through France, Spain and now Portugal, so hopefully I'll feel better soon and can get back to the adventure!

Thank you Paris for everything. You were exciting and exhausting. You were loud but magical. You gave us great bread and pain au chocolat. And for some reason you still love to smoke, a lot. Your metro system is efficient. Your treasures were numerous and I have no room left in my suitcase. You were never boring and in a whole week we had hardly time for even a bit of your beauty. So much still left unseen. But thank you Paris. I'll send you a postcard. ♥️
Internet friends are a real and wonderful thing! I will be forever grateful that social media gave me the chance to meet @lalymilleartist. I have enjoyed her kindness, friendship and art online for years and have finally had the opportunity to meet her in real life. I feel like she is my French Art Sister! We have so much in common from what inspires us and how we set up our studios to how we both run our businesses from the heart. My gratitude runs deep and I will look forward to meeting again. 💕💕
