Color Crush palette 34: Crushing It!

Are you ready for another week bursting with wild color? I had to name this palette "Crushing It!" because we all are. Color Crush Creative Instagram just hit 15k followers. I am seeing more positive creatives sharing every day. We have a new game in the Color Crush Creative Club called Crush Rush! that participants can earn rewards when they play (but you never know when the game will start!). And I have so many really fun things planned for this year, like ecourses, workshops, retreats and travel, that I can hardly contain myself. Yeah, I like how 2018 is shaping up so far. Hope it's looking bright for you as well!

Please help spread the word about our wonderful creative community by sharing on Instagram using the hashtag #cccpalette34 for this palette or #colorcrushcreative for any creative post and give @colorcrushcreative a shout out! Your post may have a chance to be featured on the Color Crush Creative Instagram and facebook feeds.

Can you believe I worked on this entire project using only 3 colors plus white and black? I wanted to see how far I could push myself using Primary Cyan, Primary Yellow and Primary Magenta. This is a switch up from the traditional color wheel, using a cadmium red, yellow and ultramarine blue. And guess what? I got brighter, more vibrant colors. This week the color project is focused on making those bold colors pop against a black background. Read the blog post about color mixing and then give this a try on a completely black surface using your own design.

**You do not need to limit your palette to only the colors in the inspiration image, all bold colors will do just fine for this project.
