hEY COLOR LOVER, WANT TO GET INVOLVED?
Every Monday your "tour guide", Kellee Wynne Conrad of @kelleewynnestudios, will post a new color palette here on the blog and on the Color Crush Creative Instagram feed and Facebook page. It's up to you to decide how it will inspire your artwork. Paint, photograph, collage, stitch, design...just go for it and share it on social media using the hashtag #colorcrushcreative for all colorful posts and #cccpalette3 for this week's colors.
This is Week Three and we are cooling things down a bit with this aqua inspired color palette. Calm and refreshing and colors nearly everyone will love to work with: turquoise, aqua and soft neutrals. They are not only easy on the eyes but easy to make successful artwork. Posts on Instagram that stand out will be featured on the Color Crush Creative Instagram feed. Take heed to the dominant color of this week's palette and make sure you photograph your artwork straight on using indirect sunlight for best results. Adjust the brightness with your editing app if you need to. More tips on taking great photographs for social media coming to the blog later this week!
Oh, hey, one more thing! Spread the word about our color palette project. Tell your creative friends, share on social media and pin these images on Pinterest. The more involvement to this growing colorful community the better it is for all of us! Now go crush it with this week's inspiring color combination that we're going to name Aruba Afternoon.
#CCCPALETTE3: ARUBA AFTERNOON
As we grow the Color Crush Creative community, those who stand out have a chance to be featured on Instagram or as the weekly featured artist. Those who subscribe to COLOR FOR YOUR INBOX will get the weekly color combination two days earlier than everyone else. Who doesn't want a two day jump start to play and post their colorful projects?
