Color Crush Creative Palette 28: Loud as a Peacock

Oh, I have been completely captivated by this peacock theme. One may say obsessed! After all my other peacock projects, I decided to experiment with this color palette in watercolor and it was such a blast. Wet your watercolor paper first and then watch the colors flow all over the page. I use QoR by Golden Paints because their pigment load (or saturation) is amazing. Try these colors in either watercolor or acrylic this week to achieve the look of "Loud as a Peacock".

  • Phthalo Blue
  • Cobalt Teal
  • Viridian Green
  • Green Gold
  • Payne's Grey (to mix for a darker shade, like in the eye of the feather)
  • And the best gold paint, Art Alchemy Metalique by Prima!
